... The Cemetery Office is closed on the following holidays: New Years Day; Memorial Day; 4th of July; Thanksgiving; Christmas. As Easter is always on a Sunday, the office is not open.
...GRAVESIDE DECORATIONSmust remain in compliance with the Bethlehem Cemetery Association's Rules and Regulations. Small annual or perennial plants may be planted in front of the upright monument no more than 18" from the base and no more than 24" to the left or right of the base. Dwarf shrubs may be planted to the left or right of the upright monument and cannot extend more than 24" from the base and not taller than 24". No decorations or floral arrangements may be placed behind (the west side) the headstone. Glass vases, statuary, candles, birdhouses, plastic or stuffed toys, wind chimes, wind socks, bug catchers are NOT permitted, as they are potential safety hazards.
...the VETERANS ADMINISTRATION provides bronze or granite flush markers memorializing deceased veterans at no cost; foundation fee does apply. Please contact our office if you are interested in applying for a marker for your loved one.

The Bethlehem Cemetery, established in 1865, remains a privately-owned not-for-profit cemetery. We are governed by the Laws, Rules and Regulations of the New York State Cemetery Board. The Board of Directors of the Bethlehem Cemetery Association is staffed by nine volunteers who oversee the administration, care, and upkeep of the cemetery.
