In-ground full casket or cremation urn burials provide interment in the earth.  Caskets are lowered into a concrete vault that has been previously placed in the grave.  Once the casket has been lowered into the vault, the vault is sealed with the cover and the grave is closed.  Urns may be placed in the ground with or without a vault.  Family members may opt to participate in closing the grave.

A  columbarium is an above-ground unit with individual niches that houses cremation urns.  Once the urn is placed inside the niche, the niche is then closed and sealed.  Memorialization is engraved on the front of the individual niche.
